Wedding Professionals of Las Vegas (WPLV) Monthly Luncheon

Envy Steakhouse was the location for the monthly luncheon for WPLV. I was so excited to go because I have heard rave reviews about this steakhouse.

Envy Steakhouse did not let me down. Although I didn’t do much networking today, I did plenty of eating. I didn’t hesitate to sample their tray passed hors d’oeuvres of mini crab cakes and beef carpaccio. A beautiful green salad with walnuts, tomato, and bleu cheese served as an appetizer which everyone loved. The entree was Filet Mignon cooked to the perfect temperature served along side shrimp skewers. Side dishes served family style were mashed potatoes (to die for!), Bourbon creamed corn (liquor in food always makes me happy), and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. Dessert was a lemon something which I didn’t pay much attention to. See, I don’t have a sweet tooth!

All in all, it was a delicious lunch. Next month, I will do more networking and less eating.

At one point in my life, I wanted to attend culinary school. Can you tell I’m a huge foodie?

Next month’s meeting is at Gordon Biersch. I’ll save room for some beer.

  1. Juliet Capulet, I think I am jealous. You keep writing about food and it’s making me hungry…. then again I always am. ha! I’ve had that LiveJournal account for so long but I’ve been updating it. I even had a blogspot – when I was in my nerdy days… I loved the bottom post. I started cracking up. I don’t even remember writing any of that. O’shea’s is still the best. I actually met an Irish guy there that Saturday complete with the accent. How ironic.

  2. You know, I’m always available for such events if you need company 😛
