The Twilight Saga – Bella’s Wedding Dress – Spoiler Alert

Yes, I’m a tad bit obsessed (and so is Angelica) with the Twilight Saga but it’s totally appropriate that I blog about this since it’s about a wedding and some wedding fashion.  So this blog post is in honor of the Eclipse movie release today!

In Breaking Dawn, Bella and Edward get married!  The wedding is an antique/vintage style wedding and the wedding dress will reflect an early 1900s style.

Here are a few of my favorite sketches from some well known fashion designers:

Christian Siriano –

Monique Lhuillier – mermaid style lace wedding gown with capped sleeves

Prabal Gurung –

Lela Rose –

Badgley Mischka – vintage gown with full length lace sleeves

Which are your favorites? Check out the article on InStyle.com for more sketches of Bella’s wedding dress.

  1. I’m so excited to see what she actually wears but I love the Lela Rose dress! I would actually wear it too.

  2. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see the movie because the 2nd one was disappointing. But if there’s gonna be a wedding, I gotta see it! Thanks for the tip-off. I like the Christian Siriano the best.

  4. I adore the Christian Siriano dress, though they are all beautiful designs. I loved the books. I haven’t seen any of the movies yet but thinking a trip to my local video store is in the near future. :)

  5. I lov all the films, but Eclipse is my fav so far. New moon wasn’t so good, but i lov the twist to the bit with the volturi fighting scene. No offnce, but none of the dresses above seem what Stepanie describes, its more of an Anne of Green gables dress, old fashioned, remeber, its meant to be centered around the room. There also not what Slice wouldapprove of, but this wont stop me from watcghing the film! I am the altomote twilight saga fan¬!
