I still remember when Lindy first called. She actually spoke to Angelica while I was on a one week cruise. I was 6 months pregnant at the time. Lindy patiently waited for me to return because she wanted to speak to me directly about her wedding.
What Lindy and Dang wanted was a modern wedding but they didn’t want to compromise on the food. Asian food was a must. Lindy is the youngest daughter in her big family and she was going to be the first to step outside of the norm of an Asian wedding banquet in a Chinese restaurant. She still wanted the Asian food but preferred a wedding reception in a more modern and American setting instead of in a Chinese restaurant. The Mandarin Oriental proved to be the perfect fit. They chose a beautiful blue and yellow color scheme. Below are the beautiful photos from their wedding day:
Lindy and Dang decided to do a dove release following their Catholic ceremony at Our Lady of La Vang church.
I love the food presentation at Mandarin Oriental. We were also able to sample the food and everything was delicious.
