Engagement Session: Shanna and Gary

I distinctly remember sitting in the food court at Mandalay Bay with Shanna listening to her talk about how she couldn’t wait till the day that Gary proposes. Well, he did and of course she said “YES!”. We are so excited to be coordinating their wedding in Palos Verdes, California at the stunning La Venta Inn next April. This engagement session was photographed by the talented Norina Leyde of Maple Hill Photography.

Engagement Session: Erin and Alan

This engagement session was submitted to us by Adam Trujillo of Adam Trujillo Photography. Erin and Alan are getting married at the end of May at Canyon Gate Country Club! Cravin Cakes, Las Vegas Bouquet and Vegas City DJs are all part of their wedding team!

From Adam: I met Erin over a martini at the Canyon Gate Open House and we hit it off from there. I knew I had to be at her wedding to capture all the fun she has planned and spoken about. Once we planned the engagement session, Erin and Alan met up with me inside the Village in Lake Las Vegas and we shared some fun stories and good laughs before we headed out to a few locations to capture some fun moments. They surprised me as well. Besides fun laughs, they had some romantic moments that made me realize how much they loved each other and were going to be happy for a long time. I am excited for their wedding this May at the beautiful Canyon Gate Country Club.

Engagement Shoot in Nelson, Nevada

Lacie submitted her engagement session to me to see if I would like to post her photos on our blog. I loved their Nelson, Nevada location and their photos!

Photographer Ali McGhie took these photos of Justin and Lacie and their dog Tyson.

Here’s their story as written by Lacie:

We choose to shoot our photos in Nelson, Nevada which is an old ghost town about 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas. Our location was absolutely perfect and gave the ultimate vintage feel that we were looking for. Our photographer, Ali, and I choose to make our props so that they were exclusively ours. We wanted our photos to be unique and different and serve a purpose for our save the dates. The banner I had made certainly did just that.

Justin and I have been engaged since July 10, 2010 where he proposed on Mission Beach in San Diego. We met at our work, and shortly after we starting dating he was promoted to my supervisor. With that, the first year of our relationship was only known by our family and closes friends until we began working for other companies. Our time thus far has been incredible and we can’t wait to make it official.

Lacie and Justin will be getting married on October 21, 2011 at the Vitruvian Mansion with Griffin Events. Congratulations!

Engagement Session: Grace and Nathan

Grace and Nathan recently made a trip to Taiwan and had these gorgeous engagement photos taken. It’s customary to take photos in “wedding attire” before the wedding in the Chinese culture. I’ve only posted one of those since Nathan wasn’t particularly fond of them. He prefers the other photos – specifically the 1930′s Shanghai inspired photos. I LOVE those too! I’m really looking forward to their wedding in April at the World Market Center!

Israel and Issac’s Engagement Session

Israel and Issac will be tying the knot in December at the lovely Paiute Golf Course. They met on a train they both took to and from work in Los Angeles and created the fun nickname of ”Train Buddy”. Yes, there will be a train somewhere at their wedding! The love these two share is incredible and strong. Issac will be deployed with the Army until December so I can’t wait to see these two let loose and have a blast on their wedding day! Crystal and Steve’s Engagement Session

Crystal and Steve will become husband and wife at the lovely Siena Golf Course and Bistro in August. They are so much fun to be around and have great stories to tell from her time studying abroad in Germany, the New Year’s proposal, and their hometown of San Diego. Their love and playful personalities show in these photos shot by Digs Studio. Thank you to Your Beauty Call for doing a wonderful job on hair and makeup. It’s been wonderful planning their wedding so far and we look forward to their wedding in August!

Engagement Session: LaVey and Tyson

LaVey and Tyson recently got engaged and reached out to us to assist them with their wedding planning. Angelica and I will be planning their wedding together and we are thrilled! LaVey and Tyson’s wedding is going to be anything BUT ordinary.

And you can’t see it in these photos, but LaVey has a tattoo of Elvis on her arm. Yup, it was meant to be since I’m a huge Elvis fan too!

We are so looking forward to their wedding this September out in Boulder City! Check out these absolutely gorgeous photos of LaVey and Tyson by Alt F. Makeup done by the bride herself who is one half of Your Beauty Call and hair was done by her partner Janine Cali.

And if I have to choose a favorite…this breathtaking one would be the winner!

Engagement Session: Lindy and Dang

Lindy and Dang woke up (before) the crack of dawn for their engagement photos by Chelsea Nicole and when you see the photos below you’ll understand why! Next May, they will exchange vows at the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer Church and celebrate with a reception at the Mandarin Oriental. Can’t wait!

Angie and Rob’s Engagement Photos

Angie and Rob had a chance to take their minds off wedding planning and have fun at their engagement session with John Morris. Angie’s smile says it all in these photos and there is no denying that these two are madly in love. Their wedding will take place April 2011 at the wonderful Aliante Station. Brett and Ryan Engagement Session

This is Brett and Ryan. And I love the location of their engagement session. Brett grew up dancing at the Historic Boulder Theatre in Boulder City so this place is like a second home to her.

From the moment I met Brett and her mother, I knew I wanted to work with them! Brett is fun, nice, knows what she wants yet has a really laid back personality. I love when brides have fun throughout the wedding planning process! Brett and Ryan will be getting married on October 1st of next year at DragonRidge Country Club!
