Green Orchid Events Is Going to Mexico!

Green Orchid Events will be attending the LOVE Mexico Wedding Program held at the beautiful Barcelo Maya Palace in Cancun from September 30 to October 3rd. While there, we will learn about destination weddings in Mexico and experience all they have to offer for weddings and honeymoons.

We will begin offering destination wedding planning services to Mexico and to other destinations around the world. This trip is jam packed with events and fun educational classes such as Destination Wedding Trends, Successful Destination Wedding Contracts, and a Trade Show. Angie and Steve’s Blush and Ivory Springtime Wedding

Angie and Steve were married on a beautiful May afternoon at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Henderson. Angie, her parents and I have been planning her wedding for over a year so I was very anxious to see all of the details come together! It was an absolutely stunning event and they couldn’t have been happier!

The day started off at Green Valley Ranch where Angie, her bridesmaids, and the moms were pampered by Makeup in the 702 with hair and makeup. The bride and groom were then transported to St. Francis by a rented Mercedes Benz. The entire wedding party walked into the ceremony to the lovely sounds of a string duo by Classical Entertainment.

After photos and refreshments in a suite, it was time to celebrate at DragonRidge Country Club! Angie surprised Steve with a stunning second wedding dress and hair change followed by a “first look” and more photos during cocktail hour. A live band (Harbor Lights) kicked off their five and a half hour reception.

At dinner, guests dined on a delicious four course meal that included a refreshing duck breast exotic green salad, a pasta course, and a choice of an entree course of either Kobe Beef NY Strip, Roasted Peruvian Sea Bass, or Braised Young Chicken. The meal ended with a wedding cake dessert.

Their three tiered square wedding cake was set on top of a plexiglass with a layer of flowers underneath on a “diamond” encrusted white linen.

By the end of the evening, guests were treated to late night snacks including berries and crème fraiche in champagne glasses, a Bananas Foster and Ice Cream Station with all the trimmings, and butler passed Fresh Baked Warm Pretzels with cheese and mustard sauce and Gourmet Mini Beef Sliders served with Pommes Frites.

Their wedding decor included elegant blush silk dupioni table linen from Wildflower Linens, silver beaded glass chargers, silver Chameleon Chairs with pale pink cushions and Curly Willow Blush Chair Sleeves from Wildflower Linens and tall blush and ivory centerpieces all perfectly lit with pink uplighting and pinspotting to bring out their beauty.

The bride and groom and their bridal party sat at a long royal table and a runner style tablescape of lush floral.

No expense was spared and the result was a breathtaking celebration of Angie and Steve’s love. Congratulations again Angie and Steve!

Additional wedding information such as your vendors, theme, color scheme, etc.

Please tell us your story about how you fell in love, your engagement, details of your wedding, how you are unique as a couple, and why you should be chosen as the winner. Be sure to include a photo!

Rules:

Rachelle and Ruben’s Spring Wedding at Siena Golf Club and Bistro

On May 22, 2010, Rachelle and Ruben became Mr. and Mrs. at Siena Golf Club and Bistro. It was a windy and chilly day for May in Las Vegas, but that could not stop the love that they shared from radiating all around their friends and family. The ceremony and reception was flowing with beautiful green and orange flowers and music from DJ Gabriel Ortiz filled the air. An abundance of laughs were shared throughout the night and the most memorable laugh had to have been when the father of the bride stated that if Rachelle would not have married Ruben, he would have!

I wish Rachelle and Ruben a lifetime filled with love and laughter and many cuddles from their cute doggy Charlie who made an appearance on their donation favor cards.

Amanda and Oli Same Day Edit

Amanda and Oli were married at Anthem Country Club on June 22nd, 2010. Many of their guests were from out of the country so they wanted to make their wedding an all day event! This is where Digs Studio decided to surprise the bride and groom with a same day edit video. There was not a dry eye in the house and it was a great surprise to all! Check it out below:
