Wedding reception at Red Rock Casino. I love the teal table linen they chose.

Tall centerpieces of elegant white carnation balls in a cylinder glass

Photos of old Las Vegas casinos were used for their table names.

I love the pattern on the three tiered round white wedding cake

You can’t have a vintage Vegas wedding without Las Vegas showgirls!

Or Frank Sinatra…

Frank Sinatra was a hit!

Congratulations to Kate and Ge, a sweet couple from Boston, who were married in October at the beautiful Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa! Their colors were red and chocolate brown which were perfect for this setting. Besides Kate’s love for the color red, she also wanted to honor her groom’s Chinese heritage. Some of his family flew in all the way from China to witness their wedding! Following a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony with music played by an acoustic guitarist, Kate, Ge, and their family and close friends celebrated with a cocktail style reception.
Congratulations Kate and Ge!

The first time I saw cheesecake lollipops, I was at a Concierge event with my sister at the David Burke restaurant inside the Venetian Resort, Hotel & Casino. This was a few years ago and it seems that I’m starting to see this trend more and more and it has carried over to weddings and events.
We recently did a wedding with a cocktail style reception. Red Rock Casino, Resort, & Spa created cheesecake lollipops and we placed it on a bed of red sugar crystals to coordinate with the bride and groom’s wedding color.
More photos from this wedding to come!

Amber and Bill are getting married tomorrow! Amber is a Las Vegas native who lives in New York! How fun and exciting!
Their wedding is inspired by the glitz and glamour of 1950s/1960s Las Vegas and will take place at Red Rock Casino following a church ceremony at Guardian Angel Cathedral.
I’m looking forward to working with my talented wedding florist friends over at Enchanted Florist as well as fabulous Las Vegas wedding photographer Chelsea Nicole!
P.S. I can’t wait to see the showgirls. And no, I’m not being sarcastic.

Red Rock Casino is one of my favorite off strip properties. Located close to the Red Rock Canyon and approximately 11 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, it is a serene location for those desiring an escape from the Strip.
Begin your stay with an aromatherapy massage from The Spa at Red Rock, relax in one of their 19 private cabanas, dine in one of their delicious restaurants, and enjoy your stay in a modern hotel room with a 42-inch plasma TV, iPod jack, and many other amenities.
Your catering manager can arrange for a suite on the same level as your ballroom with direct access to the convention center so that you can completely avoid the casino during your stay. The catering and banquet staff is excellent, food is always delectable, and most of their ballrooms include verandas. To end your evening, an after party may take place at Cherry Nightclub or a private bowling suite at the VIP Lanes.
Starting next week and until October, Green Orchid Events will be coordinating a total of four weddings there and hopefully with more to come in 2010!

On Tuesday, November 18th, we had the pleasure and honor of coordinating Heather and Jason’s gorgeous wedding. The ceremony took place at the Venus Garden in Caesar’s Palace. LTeventions provided the lovely floral arrangements and red draping of the gazebo. Heather and Jason were attended by Heather’s sister, Jason’s brother, and “Bananas”, their ringbearer (their son, the stuffed monkey in a tux).
Following the ceremony, guests were transported by Earthbus to Red Rock Casino where guests enjoyed a dinner reception in one of the Veranda ballrooms and an afterparty at the VIP Bowling Lanes. The talented John Michael Cooper of Alt F captured stunning images of their entire wedding day and Ms. Dalisa Cooper made an appearance at the afterparty to capture some additional images too. Here are a few of their photos:

Thank you to all the lovely people who worked with me to pull off a beautiful event. Congratulations to Heather and Jason!
